If you missed the Christmas Market which ends on December 22, you can also bring your kids to St. Lawrence Market, it’s another great place for Christmas shopping and eating.

   2. Black Creek Pioneer Village

As a re-created agricultural community at Toronto’s northern edge, kids will be able to see what life was like for Ontarians in the 19th century. It will be an alternative way for kids to learn that part of the history with you. During December, the village has Christmas by Lamplight program, inviting visitors to “see the Village bathed in the glow of candlelight.”

   3. Snowland

Great Wolf Lodge is transformed into snowland in proper Northwoods style in winter. Besides hugging the Santa Claus and dinning at live-sized gingerbread house, there’s a chance for your kids to get an official “Snowploma” from North Pole University.

   4. Aquarium of Canada

If your kid likes to play outdoor even in winter time, skiing would be one of the top choices. It’s a good way to help him/her build courage and they will largely rely on you if they are not good at it. In addition, some skiing sites will offer other snow activities like snowmobiling. Sometimes there might be a hot spring nearby where you can go and relax from the tiredness.

   11. Skating

If you are not allowed to take your kid too far or keep him/her overnight, you can take him/her to the nearest rink. Similar to the skiing, it a great opportunity to interact with your kid and let him/her know that you are reliable. Best of all, there are so many public rinks across the city, they are FREE!
